Patron’s donations range between £60 and £240 per year, and come with a range of benefits. The Amadeus Orchestra is a registered charity, and by using Deed of Covenant and Gift Aid forms, the orchestra can claim the tax which you have already paid. If you are a higher rate earner, you can also benefit from tax refunds on your contributions.

The Amadeus relies for funding on ticket sales, private donations and sponsorship. Players pay for the residential courses themselves, although bursaries are awarded to the most deserving where possible.
We need to raise £20,000 a year just to survive, but in the long term we are planning a more ambitious schedule that would need £100,000 a year to run. This is still less than a fifth of the amount similar orchestras spend in a year. We urgently need help to continue running an orchestra that has come to be regarded as the best of its kind. We’re seeking a major sponsor who could contribute £70,000 a year, preferably over a number of years. Benefits include your company name and logo on all publicity material, complimentary top price tickets to all performances and the opportunity to entertain guests at concerts. We also need sponsors for individual concerts. Concert sponsorship is priced at £7,000, and benefits include 30 complimentary tickets and programmes, your company name and logo on publicity material, a full page advertisement in the programme and the ability to entertain at the concert.
