Principal Conductor

Philip Mackenzie is Musical Director and Principal Conductor of the Amadeus Orchestra.

He is also Principal Guest Conductor of the Crimean State Symphony Orchestra and Musical Director of Stockport Youth Orchestra

Other orchestras with which Philip has worked with include Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Bombay Chamber Orchestra and the Kwa Zulu Natal Symphony Orchestra. As a choral trainer he has achieved notable successes with the Manchester Bach Choir, Exeter Choral Society and many others. Philip has taught conducting at Bath Spa University College and Newcastle University.
